JM: Did you find it difficult to get along with other inmates?
Amy: Not really, as I tried to stay away from everyone. I stayed to myself
most of the time to avoid problems.
JM: What types of things did you have to do to avoid problems or fights with other inmates?
Amy: I kept to myself, reading and sleeping.
JM: Were you able to choose an inmate if you knew one?
Amy: No, I was not able, nor did I know any.
